Our standard booklet printing allows for a large variety of booklets, newsletters, brochures, catalogues or books to be priced. We offer 100gsm cartridge paper, 100gsm equest®, 115gsm, 150gsm and 200gsm in gloss or silk art, and 160gm equest®, There are cover options up to 280gsm which can be gloss or matt laminated, or our 300gm equest® Card which is an uncoated material not suitable for lamination.
Orientation Our prices are for Portrait (bound on the long edge) or Landscape (bound on the short edge) Books. Please Note: A6 & 1/3 A4 landscape Booklets are finished with one stitch (staple) only.
Non Standard Sizes If you require a Non Standard size Booklet e.g. a CD size (120mm square), simply price as the next standard size, in this case A5 (148mm x 210mm). We make no extra charge for trimming to a bespoke size.
Turnaround The turnaround times shown are for up to 10,000 for Wire Stitched Booklets. For larger quantities and Perfect Bound Booklets please confirm turnaround at the time of ordering.

Wire Stitching (stapling)
This is ideal for booklets with a smaller number of pages. We fold our sections prior to assembly resulting in booklets which sit flat and look professional. NB. Not all stitched booklets are finished this way. Most are collated before folding and stitching. It's easier but results in a 'springy' booklet.

Printing Technology
Stochastic Screening is used in our booklet printing so the 'dots' associated with conventional printing are eliminated.
We offer Full Colour Print on several different standard stocks. These have been selected for their exceptional quality which complements our print perfectly.
Our 115gm range, 150gm range, 200gm range, and our 280gm product range, are all printed on triple coated high gloss or silk material.

Paper Options
In addition to the standard stocks we also offer the option of printing on a huge variety of other papers and boards.
As well as conventional Full Colour Printing (formed by the combination of four colours) we are one of the few printers in the country able to offer Hexachrome (six colour printing) and Metal FX (Metallic Printing) on our standard stocks.
Hexachrome can produce exceptional results, particularly for jobs which call for vivid oranges and greens. It involves the combination of six colours, rather than four in conventional printing, to produce the full rainbow spectrum.
Metal FX is a relatively new process. We have passed strict criteria to be licensed to use the system. Metal FX allows any number of Metallic colours to be produced on the same page with Full Colour.
Finally, if the particular size you require is not detailed we can produce bespoke sizes. Simply price the next size up. E.g. for a 279mm x 198mm video sleeve price as an A4 210mm x 297mm and specify your finished size requirement. We will trim to size free of charge.
Artwork
- Please allow 3mm bleed on all sides of your artwork.
- Allow a 5mm inner margin for the important text and pictures - more for perfect bound books
- If possible, convert RGB Colours to CMYK within your artwork files.
- Our workflow is based on PDF format. Ideally you should send your files to us in this format. Other formats require us to create a Print Quality PDF at further cost
