Digital Colour Printing
Digital Colour Printing is produced on our Xeikon 5000 Digital Press. The unique press is able to produce Digital A2 Prints printed on both sides as well as doublesided banners on almost any length up to 480mm wide!
With our new Digital Colour Presses our legendary values of economy, quality and reliability really have entered the Digital Print arena.
Our Digital Colour Press can work much the same as Lithographic Presses producing the same print again and again.
Using the machine as a low volume press exploits the main advantage Digital has over Litho. This is the fact that every print the machine produces can be completely different from the print before and the print following. The marketing potential of fully personalised documents is enormous and we are at the vanguard of Personalised print technology.
Experience shows that mailshots which use this type of technology are considerably more effective that un-personalised or even conventionally personalised mailshots. Generally the more 'personal' the letter appears the greater is the response. Imagine how this new innovation could work for you! Digital Black & White Printing
Digital Black and White Printing is produced on our Canon IR105 Digital Press. As well as producing print of exceptional quality the IR105 is also extremely fast and makes light work of the largest of volumes. All prices for Digital Black and White include the cost of collation if required.
Finishing
We are able to undertake a range of finishing on our Digital Print. These include making small runs of Wire Stitched (Stapled) and Perfect Bound (like this catalogue) Booklets, padding, perforating, laminating, encapsulation and hole punching. We would be pleased to provide a quotation if your specific requirements are not shown.
Please Note:
With our Digital Colour Press printing can extend to the very edges of the sheets of both A4 and A3 (Full Bleed.) Our Digital Black and White machine has a white border of 10mm around the edge of both A4 and A3. If your requirement is for Black and White to full bleed or on heavy material this would need to be printed on the Digital Colour Press and would be priced accordingly.
Artwork
Here's a brief summary for checking your artwork
- Please allow 3mm bleed on all sides of your artwork.
- Allow a 5mm inner margin for the important text and pictures
- If possible, convert RGB Colours to CMYK within your artwork files.
- Our workflow is based on PDF format. Ideally you should send your files to us in this format. Other formats require us to create a Print Quality PDF at further cost
PDF Pre-requisites
- 300dpi resolution image files
- Text either embedded or converted to paths
- Transparencies need to be flattened
