Folders are made from either 280gm Gloss Art or 400gm Matt Art Card. They are printed on one or both sides in either Spot Colour or Full Colour. Standard Folders can be specified for either A4 or A5 size inserts.
Finishing Options:
Lamination: Folders can be laminated with Gloss or Matt laminate on one or both sides. We are also able to Spot UV varnish (at an extra cost), please ask for details.
Assembly: Folders are supplied flat with interlocking pockets for easy assembly or applied with double sided tape at time of use. Alternatively they can be supplied fully assembled if preferred. Please Note: Assembled folders are very bulky. We may have to revise our carriage cost to reflect volume rather than weight.
Gussets:
All Folder designs can be specified as Gusseted or Ungusseted. Ungusseted Folders are perfect for holding the equivalent of up to ten sheets of 80gm paper. A 2mm Gusseted Folder can hold the equivalent of twenty sheets of 80gm paper and a 4mm Gusseted Folder the equivalent of forty sheets.

Artwork
Here's a brief summary for checking your artwork
- Please allow 3mm bleed on all sides of your artwork.
- Allow a 5mm inner margin for the important text and pictures
- If possible, convert RGB Colours to CMYK within your artwork files.
- Our workflow is based on PDF format. Ideally you should send your files to us in this format. Other formats require us to create a Print Quality PDF at further cost
PDF Pre-requisites
- 300dpi resolution image files
- Text either embedded or converted to paths
- Transparencies need to be flattened
