Label Printing

Our Labels are litho printed for exceptional quality and durability. They are designed to perform well in a wide variety of applications.

Material

Our Labels are self-adhesive and have a white semi-gloss finish. They are permanent (i.e. non removable once applied). The Label backing is split diagonally which makes it easy to peel the Label from the backing no matter what the Label size is.

Please Note: Our Label material is not waterproof and should not be used in damp conditions or in fridges. Our minimum size Label is 40mm in either direction.

Sizes

If your required size is not listed simply price as the next Label size up.

There is no additional charge for cutting out your custom size rectangular, one up, Label. Please specify the size you require at the time of ordering.

CD/DVD Labels, printed on the same gloss material as our standard Labels, are available.

Finishing

All sizes of Label can be round cornered if required. The cutters available are for either a 3mm or a 10mm radius corner.

Special Shaped Labels

We are now able to Die-Cut or Kiss-Cut* shapes out of A6, A5, A4 or 250mm square Labels. * Kiss-Cutting means that the Label material is cut but the backing sheet is not. It means that the cut Labels are retained on the backing.

There is a one off cost of a Die-Cutting Forme, then on subsequent runs we can use the same Forme again. As many Shaped Labels as will fit can be cut out of a sheet. Please submit your design for us to price the Forme required.

The cost of Die-Cutting is calculated from a Setup charge and then a run on cost per 1000.

Artwork

Here's a brief summary for checking your artwork

• Please allow 3mm bleed on all sides of your artwork.
• Allow a 5mm inner margin for the important text and pictures
• If possible, convert RGB Colours to CMYK within your artwork files.
• Our workflow is based on PDF format. Ideally you should send your files to us in this format. Other formats require us to create a Print Quality PDF at further cost

PDF Pre-requisites

• 300dpi resolution image files
• Text either embedded or converted to paths
• Transparencies need to be flattened
