Litho Presses
Our factory is equipped with Heidelberg sheet-fed offset lithographic printing presses which can handle paper sizes from cut-size A4 to over 1,601mm x 1,171mm. These high-speed presses have the latest electronic controls to ensure exact ink weight measurement and perfect registration.
These sophisticated in-built press controls, combined with our enormous pre-press expertise ensure that we always achieve the very highest quality of printed product.
Pre-Press Expertise
We will check your PDF artwork very carefully before proceeding with printing (unless you ask us not to pre-flight check your job). We will inform you of any problems with your PDF, so that you can improve the quality of your file and resubmit it to us.
If you are having any difficulty creating a satisfactory PDF, we will be pleased to create one for you for a small charge.
Sizes
Most of the leaflets that we print end up as A6 (105mm x 148mm), 1/3rd A4 (210mm x 99mm), A5 (210mm x 148mm) or A4 (297mm x 210mm) flyers. Often the A4 leaflets are folded once to form a four-page A5 flyer or twice to form a six page 1/3rd A4 flyer (sometimes known as a six-page DL brochure).
The flyers can be as small as 85mm x 55mm, the same size as a business card, up to six-page A4 (297mm x 630mm flat, usually folded to A4).

Paper and Board Choices
Our standard materials for full colour leaflet, flyer and brochure printing are 115gsm gloss art, 115gsm silk art, 150gsm gloss art, 150gsm silk art, 200gsm gloss art, 200gsm silk art, 280gsm gloss art and 280gsm silk art.

Print Finishing
If you would like your brochures, flyers or leaflets to be folded, perforated, creased, round cornered or drilled then please select the Finishing box under the Optional Extras heading and make you selection. The figures in the price table will automatically update to include the cost of the finishing.
Artwork
Here's a brief summary for checking your artwork
- Please allow 3mm bleed on all sides of your artwork.
- Allow a 5mm inner margin for the important text and pictures
- If possible, convert RGB Colours to CMYK within your artwork files.
- Our workflow is based on PDF format. Ideally you should send your files to us in this format. Other formats require us to create a Print Quality PDF at further cost
PDF Pre-requisites
- 300dpi resolution image files
- Text either embedded or converted to paths
- Transparencies need to be flattened
