Spot Colour printing on 90gsm Uncoated can achieve exact matches to specific Pantone colours, which are outside the CMYK colour gamut.

We print in Pantone Spot Colours onto 90gsm Uncoated Envelopes. GSM is an abbreviation for “grams per square metre” and it describes how heavy the material is – it is based on the weight of one square metre of the paper in grams.

This area without any important text is known as a Quiet Area. The Quiet Area should be at least 10mm wide round the edges of your DL plain, DL window and C5 plain Envelopes printed in either one Pantone Spot Colour, two Pantone Spot Colours or three Pantone Spot Colours one side only on 90gsm Uncoated.
