Spot Colour Printing

Spot Colour Printing is produced on our B3 & B2 presses. By using ink mixed to a specific Pantone¨ number it is possible to achieve exceptional fidelity between print runs and good matching to existing stationery. The creative possibilities using one, two, three or more Pantone¨ colours are almost endless, or of course you could just print iin one colour black only.

There are many different stocks to choose from including Conqueror, Mellotex, Zeta, Triple Coated Matt, Gloss or Silk, 80gsm, 100gsm, 105gsm, 120gsm, 160gsm, all our leaflet printing weights and our high quality business card and postcard coated material of 400gsm. The tinted paper and card could be of use for printing a budget newsletter or an appointment card.

Artwork

Here's a brief summary for checking your artwork

• Please allow 3mm bleed on all sides of your artwork.
• Allow a 5mm inner margin for the important text and pictures
• If possible, convert RGB Colours to CMYK within your artwork files.
• Our workflow is based on PDF format. Ideally you should send your files to us in this format. Other formats require us to create a Print Quality PDF at further cost

PDF Pre-requisites

• 300dpi resolution image files
• Text either embedded or converted to paths
• Transparencies need to be flattened
